Fees and Information for Big Sur State Parks

Big Sur is a town located along Highway 1 and there is no entrance fee to the Big Sur area. However there are a number of state parks along the way which may have their own fees.

Big Sur State Parks are open 1/2 hour before sunrise to 1/2 hour after sunset.

DAY USE FEE:
$10/day per car. Your entrance fee allows you access to all California State Parks until sundown.
Senior Citizen Discount: Age 62 or older, $1.00 off, except vehicles over 9 passenger capacity.
Disabled Discount Pass Holders: $5
Distinguished Veterans Pass Holders: no charge
Golden Bear Pass Holders: no charge
Limited Use Golden Bear Pass Holders: no charge during off-season (Labor Day through Memorial Day). Source: (Parks.Ca.gov)

*NOTE: Tour buses and RVs are not permitted in the parking lots at Andrew Molera and Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Parks.
